Introduces basic information and practical application of courtroom testimony, Standard Field Sobriety Tests (SFST) applications, Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) abilities, intoxilyzer technology, and Wet labs. Includes tours of Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) academy and Marion County Correctional Facility complex

Prerequisite: CJ 261 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
