CJ 264 - Law Enforcement Related Experience 4

Lab Hours: 9
Credit Hours: 3

Provides knowledge and skills necessary to investigate motor vehicle crashes, apply correct motor vehicle (MV) codes, conduct traffic stops, recognize Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) considerations, and liability issues. Also provides skills needed to effectively write police reports, conduct vehicle searches, make high risk stops, and employ K-9s related to vehicle stops and searches.

Prerequisite: CJ 263  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
