DRF 132 CAD 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Incorporates hands-on experience with AutoCAD. Covers advanced graphics commands for two-dimensional drawings. Introduces elementary customization techniques. Covers three-dimensional models and drawings created from solids.
Prerequisite: DRF 131 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Create, modify and generate drawings of 3D solid models.
- Demonstrate ability to create and copy multiple layouts and manage viewpoints.
- Utilize parametric constraints, dynamic blocks, annotative scale and Action Recorder.
- Create and modify annotation styles for desired result.
- Create custom toolbars, palettes, line types, and hatching.
