DRF 230 Introduction to MicroStation PC Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Introduces the MicroStation drafting software. Covers basic drawing, editing and display commands. Contrasts operations with AutoCAD.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Produce drawings using MicroStation.
- Apply dimensioning within MicroStation J to create ANSI standard dimensions.
- Utilize fence manipulations to select and modify objects in drawing.
- Define, place and manipulate cells.
- Place and manipulate text in drawing.
