DRF 245 Civil Drafting and Design Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 9 Credits: 4
Introduces AutoCAD Land Development Desktop. Develops residential subdivision and typical utility design documentation.
Prerequisite: DRF 132 and DRF 155 , each with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Use CAD-based design software in the development of civil documentation.
- Produce base design sheets at multiple scales as part of the civil design process.
- Prepare review-ready documentation associated with a typical residential subdivision.
- Demonstrate control of text, symbols and line weights on a plotted drawing set.

- Interpolation of a surveyor’s data file
