DRF 273 Commercial Drafting with Revit Software 3 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 9 Credits: 4
Covers creation of project documentation including schedules, interior elevations, symbol legend, table of contents and cover sheet data. Develops a conceptual tenant improvement plan for one portion of the project based upon client specifications and requirements. Includes rendering a completed project and creating an animation. Third course in a three-term commercial drafting sequence using Revit software.
Prerequisite: DRF 272 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Create schedules based upon project data.
- Create interior elevations.
- Calculate building occupant load based on area and occupancy.
- Design a conceptual plan meeting client requirements and code restrictions.
- Create a flyover or walkthrough animation.
