Develops the basic language and movements of martial arts.
Student Learning Outcomes: Beginning
- Identify and demonstrate the fundamental stances, blocks, and defenses.
- Identify and demonstrate three or more fundamental kicks.
- Demonstrate three fundamental punches.
- Demonstrate the sixteen pre-arranged 3 and 2 step fighting techniques.
- Develop and improve strength and flexibility, balance, and coordination, confidence and concentration, along with improving their cardiovascular fitness.
- Successfully train in martial arts for cardiovascular fitness.
