1. Students completing the Governmental Accounting certificate should be able to satisfy the following set of outcomes:
2. Apply governmental accounting principles to complete the governmental accounting cycle and prepare financial reports.
3. Prepare and analyze governmental budgets.
4. Understand the differences between principles in accounting for not-for-profit organizations as compared to financial accounting.

You may earn a certificate of completion by successfully completing the required 40 credit hours with a grade of “C” or better in all courses.
