ABF 404 Communication for Leaders Lecture Hours: 5 Credits: 5
Equips current and aspiring leaders with the essential communication skills necessary to lead effectively in today’s dynamic organizational environments. Delves into both internal and external communication strategies, emphasizing practical application through interactive activities, real-world case studies, and presentations.
Prerequisite: Entry into the Leadership Applied Baccalaureate Program; or completion of AAS degree; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Enhance team collaboration and productivity through active listening, providing constructive feedback, resolving conflicts, and effectively communicating organizational vision and change initiatives.
- Recognize and adjust personal communication approaches to suit various situations and audiences, utilizing emotional intelligence to inspire and motivate teams.
