AH 115 Healthcare Career Strategies

Presents an applied approach to the introduction of health careers. Includes health career options and preparation requirements, professional and ethical behavior, teamwork and leadership, customer service, health promotion, and wellness. Integrates academic success strategies with healthcare applications. Recognize life-threatening emergencies and provide basic life support.

- Evaluate health career options, career potential, and preparation for health careers.
- Explain the characteristics of healthcare professionals including, professional and ethical behavior, teamwork, leadership skills, and customer service.
- Apply the principles and methods of health promotion and wellness.
