APR 153F Electrician Apprenticeship Residential Installation Lecture Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Continues related training for Inside Wire Electrician Apprentices. Includes requirements for wiring and installation of electrical devices, auxiliary gutters, raceways, fuses and over-current devices. Covers hazardous locations, busways, residential calculation, safety and applicable Oregon Electrical Specialty Code.
Prerequisite: APR 153E with a grade ‘C’ or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Apply the theory and techniques of the trade to residential requirements and calculations.
- Relate to peers the skills required in print reading, specifications, installations, and hazardous locations.
- Interpret and apply the applicable section of the National Electrical Code to installations and calculations.
