Introduces students to techniques, strategies and information fundamental to success in the college environment.

Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Locate and identify key college resources and services.
  2. Identify college policies and procedures that relate to their educational process.
  3. Describe a process for decision making/problem solving related to achieving educational or personal goals.
  4. Identify the components of stress and apply a specific stress management technique.
  5. Examine how successful organization and management of time relates to achieving educational and individual goals.
  6. Describe the process for career exploration and assessment and identify individual career direction.
  7. Recognize and explain the attitude and strategies associated with effective learning.
