CIS 288 Cloud Essentials+ Lecture Hours: 4 Credits: 4
Introduces students to the foundational principals of cloud and virtualization technology. Access real cloud computing platforms, and build and manage cloud infrastructure. Provides the foundation of virtualization technologies, and the infrastructure of virtualized systems. Provides resources that can be used to prepare for the CompTIA Cloud Essential+ certification (CL0-002)
Prerequisite: CIS 279 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Differential Fee Yes Student Learning Outcomes:

- Understanding of basic terms and definitions of cloud computing
