ELT 282 Telecommunications Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Covers communications theory and systems. Develops practical skills and reinforces theoretical concepts through laboratory experiments and field trips. Promotes and supports sustainable and green technologies.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: ELT 281 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Describe the essential elements of a communication system.
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate basic communication system block diagrams.
- Describe appropriate modulation techniques for transmission and processing different types of information.
- Identify, describe, and apply communication trends in today’s technology.
