Focuses primarily on the tourism attributes of geographical areas of North America, with a brief look at the other major tourism destinations on Earth. Provides in-depth geographical and tourism-related information on the countries emphasized.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Interpret and discuss the major sights and tourism/business attractions of each area.
- Compare the characteristics of a geographic region to formulate destination options for travel clients.
- Plan an independent tour itinerary in Oregon.
- Apply rules and regulations regarding required travel documentation.
