MLD 482 Applied Leadership 2 Lecture Hours: 5 Credits: 5
Broaden leadership capacity and capability for creating, maintaining and growing high performance organizations. Focused on individual, team and organization human dynamics that impacts function, form and systems is explored. Understand skills that foster organizational human processes for development of high-performance organizations. Build individual capacity to lead, engage and manage change in multiple unit business entities.
Prerequisite: Entry into the Applied Leadership Baccalaureate Program; or completion of AAS degree; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Evaluate the impact of leadership and management actions and decisions on organizational success.
- Compare and contrast organizational leadership and management actions to industry practices.
- Outline personal leadership and management plan that effectively deploys personal strengths and capacities to support organizational and industry success
- Demonstrate effective collaboration and communication skills within organization and across industry sector.
