PE 185SR Softball, Adv Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 1
Covers fundamentals, rules and strategy of softball. Presents specific skills necessary for successful recreational and/or competitive experience in softball. Incorporates wellness in the areas of physical, social, emotional and nutritional health; stress management; and student support systems.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify and practice the fundamental aspects of softball.
- Employ rules of the game.
- Demonstrate correct skills during play.
- Participate in team play and tournaments.
- Develop a personal philosophy to include the areas of wellness.
- Identify and differences between slow-pitch and fast-pitch pitching.
