PE 185VK Volleyball, Intermediate

Includes the fundamentals, rules, and strategy of volleyball. Develops specific skills necessary for successful recreational and/or competitive experience in volleyball. Covers physical fitness, student support systems, social, emotional, nutritional development, and stress management.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Beginning 

  1. Identify and practice the fundamental aspects of volleyball. 
  2. Employ rules of the game during class play. 
  3. Use correct skills during play. 
  4. Participate in class play and tournament.

Intermediate 

  1. Umpire a volleyball game. 
  2. Peer teach basic skills.
