Educates, supports and motivates individuals interested in managing their weight. Includes nutrition information, weigh-in, class discussion and daily exercise management.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Beginning 

  1. Identify weight, body fat, and exercise goals. 
  2. Complete a self-analysis of eating behaviors and trigger foods, and nutritional goals. 
  3. Record and analyze food record. 
  4. Describe and participate in an individualized exercise program to encourage weight management. 
  5. Assess nutritional and exercise progress through a chart. 
  6. Complete weekly healthy habit goals. 
  7. Participate in discussions about weight management topics. 

Intermediate 

  • Meet beginning objectives and set new goals to build on previous goals. 
  • Discuss and participate in successful behavior modification techniques. 
  • Identify components of fitness and recommendations for weight management. 

Advanced 

  • Meet beginning and intermediate objectives and set new goals to build on previous goals. 
  • Discuss the psychology of overeating, addiction, and dysfunctional traits.
