Focuses on developing and executing a strength and conditioning program to meet individual goals.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Beginning 

  1. Identify individual strength and fitness goals. 
  2. Practice an adequate warm-up. 
  3. Maintain a written document of workout sessions. 
  4. Apply correct execution of basic strength skills.  
  5. Participate in strength pre- and post-tests on at least three areas. 
  6. Participate in a full workout program. 

Intermediate 

  1. Meet beginning objectives. 
  2. Develop an individual strength program to meet fitness goals. 
  3. Practice of advanced strength exercises. 
  4. Identify types and protocol for various strength and conditioning programs. 
  5. Identify minimal guidelines to maintain cardiovascular fitness. 
  6. Use process to assess strength levels.
