Surveys winter vineyard management practices. Covers training, pruning, propagation, bench grafting, and simple trellis designs.

Prerequisite: VMW 101 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:

Prune on a variety of trellising systems.
Prepare cuttings and apply grafting skills.
Calculate pruning statistics to adjust yield and manage the canopy.
Plan and install a simple trellis system.
Recognize winter disease symptoms and vineyard pests and recommend control systems.
