VMW 290 Wine Studies Capstone Lecture Hours: 4 Credits: 4
Provides the opportunity to demonstrate organization and leadership in a guided learning project. Promotes the application, further development, and deeper understanding of learned skills and techniques in Wine Studies program. Improves project management skills. Promotes career-readiness.
Prerequisite: VMW 222 with a grade of C or better; and must be in the last term of Vineyard Management and/or Winemaking program. Instructor approval required. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Propose, prepare, and present a capstone project relevant to personal wine career goals
- Demonstrate project planning and organizational skills
- Research professional development opportunities within career field.
- Create and present a professional CV/resume
