Continues WLD 151. Covers ferrous and nonferrous alloys and welding procedures. Includes demonstration and supervised practice of techniques on various metals applied in fabrication and repair concurrently with related information concerning the use and structure of these metals.

Prerequisite: WLD 151 with a grade of C or better; or consent of program chair.
Student Learning Outcomes:

Exercise all safety rules established by the Chemeketa Community College Welding Department.
Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals with various sizes and types of electrodes.
Demonstrate the ability to execute arc welds to industrial quality.
