BH 105 Culturally Appropriate Services: Latine Populations Lecture Hours: 1 Credits: 1
Raises cultural understanding and develops personal and professional skills in working effectively with Latine clients in behavioral health settings. Provides an opportunity to learn and practice incorporating information into everyday helping processes through activities and case study scenarios.

- Explain cultural issues that affect the behavioral health professional and individuals-served relationship.
- Identify specific issues incorporated in the assessment and planning of care for Latine individuals.
