MLD 481BH Applied Leadership 1-Behavioral Health Supervision

Broadens and builds clinical leadership capacity and capability for creating, maintaining, and growing clinically effective and high engagement work teams. Focuses on individual, team, and organizational dynamics that impacts function, form, and systems. Gains awareness of understanding skills that foster organizational human processes for development of productive work teams. Builds individual capacity to lead, engage, and manage change in behavioral health work teams.

Prerequisite: Entry into the Leadership Applied Baccalaureate Program; or completion of AAS degree; and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) II or III or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or higher credential, or consent of instructor.
Recommended: Prior management experience. Working in behavioral health or related clinical settings with opportunities for clinical supervision.
