Develops essential writing skills at the sentence and paragraph levels as required for the GED test. Reviews parts of speech and their respective roles within a sentence. Edits sentences and paragraphs using structured grammar and punctuation. Identifies errors including fragments, run-ons and comma splices, modifier issues and use of infinitive and gerunds. Identifies components of sentences including phrases and causes. Explains the four sentence types, and use them in combination.
