Prepares students to compose professional emails, proposals, letters, resumes, and reports/papers. Stresses differentiation between business and academic purposes and forms. Covers correct sentence, paragraph, and document structure. Demonstrates proper citation and database research. Introduces MLA and APA styles.

  1. Identify the different purposes/forms between business and academic documents. 
  2. Communicate through written documents in the workplace in order to get desired results. 
  3. Explain and apply generally accepted rules for business documents.
