Identify five ancient empires and list the influence they had on thought, science, art, government, and culture.
Describe early migration patterns.
Identify factors in the development of nations.
Describe key cultural movements such as the Crusades, Renaissance and Humanism, the Age of Exploration, and Industrial revolution.
Analyze the cause and effect of key events in the development of world civilizations and trace their impact on the modern world.
Explain key global expansion efforts such as discovery of the Americas or trade routes in Asia.
Describe the impact of European invasion on indigenous peoples as well as the impact of new trade items on European economies.
Interpret charts and graphs.
Identify the roots of nation development in conflict events such as World War I.
