APR 256L HVAC/R Apprenticeship-Advanced 3 Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 2 Credits: 5
Focuses on commercial and industrial refrigeration; alternative heating and cooling systems; and crew leadership. Designed for Oregon State recognized apprentices working in the HVAC/R trade.
Prerequisite: APR 256K with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Explain, interpret and apply National Electrical Codes to meet inside wiring standards.
- Take the state-mandated exam for general journey-level electricians.
