BA 290 Accounting Information Systems Lecture Hours: 4 Credits: 4
Prepares students to meet the needs of contemporary business professionals to identify and monitor enterprise risks and to provide quality assurance for a company’s information systems.
Prerequisite: CIS 101 or CIS 120 (or concurrently enrolled); and BA 211Z (or concurrently enrolled) both with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify the attributes and technologies of an accounting information systems.
- Describe and document business processes for effective and efficient business operations.
- Identify internal controls applicable to mitigating business system risks.
