CJ 155 Science and Law in Use of Force Lecture Hours: 2 Credits: 2
Presents specialized training and academic opportunities in the science and law in the use of force.
Prerequisite: CJ 103 with a grade of C or better; consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Complete specific training requirements/objectives of their department or institution.
- Increase proficiency and establish performance areas for certification purposes and departments or institutions.
- Receive updated materials and informants issued or required per policy, procedures, or operational manuals of departments or institutions.
- Complete training in areas of the new employee orientation, in-service, middle management, supervisory, command staff, or other advancement positions.
- Gather information regarding specialized areas, timely issues and/or community concerns and involvement.
