CJ 155 Science and Law in Use of Force

Presents specialized training and academic opportunities in the science and law in the use of force.

Prerequisite: CJ 103  with a grade of C or better; consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Complete specific training requirements/objectives of their department or institution.
  2. Increase proficiency and establish performance areas for certification purposes and departments or institutions.
  3. Receive updated materials and informants issued or required per policy, procedures, or operational manuals of departments or institutions.
  4. Complete training in areas of the new employee orientation, in-service, middle management, supervisory, command staff, or other advancement positions.
  5. Gather information regarding specialized areas, timely issues and/or community concerns and involvement.
