EGR 214 Introduction to Statistics for Engineers Lecture Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Covers probability, common probability distributions, sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, control charts, regression analysis, and experiment design.
Prerequisite: Placement into WR 115 (or higher), or completion of WR 090 (or higher); and completion of MTH 252 ; or consent of instructor. (All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.) Student Learning Outcomes: Apply standard statistical techniques to engineering problems and situations.
