Focuses on the foundational skills and concepts needed to be persistent and successful in WR 115 (Introduction to Composition). Provides support in learning, practicing, and accessing resources related to: the conventions and skills of college-level writing and analyzing, responding to, and making use of college-level texts.

Prerequisite: Placement into WR 115 with corequisite support via multiple measures placement, or completion of WR 080 with a grade of C or better, or completion of WR 090 with corequisite support with a grade of C or better, or completion of WR 090, or consent of instructor.
Corequisite: WR 115 and ENG 100
