MLD 483BH Applied Leadership Capstone-Behavioral Health Supervision Lecture Hours: 5 Credits: 5
Broaden and build leadership capacity and capability for creating, maintaining, and growing effective clinical services in behavioral health organizations. Focus on individual and system dynamics that impact supervision and provider services. Gain awareness for culturally responsive skills that foster organizational processes for sustainable, culturally responsive behavioral health workforce. Build individual capacity to lead, engage and manage change through culturally responsive clinical supervision and management.
Prerequisite: MLD 482 and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) II or III or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or higher credential or consent of instructor. Recommended: Work in behavioral health or related clinical settings with opportunities for clinical supervision, and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) II or III or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or higher credential, or consent of instructor.
