RD 085 - College Reading

Provides instruction, in conjunction with XRD5320A, in an intensive practice with active reading strategies in order to achieve a variety of learning goals. Students practice a study reading process to understand and use information from college-level texts. Includes application of study reading skills to specific academic disciplines and career fields.

Prerequisite: Placement into RD 085; and concurrent enrollment in XRD 5320A; or consent of instructor.
