Continues WLD 162. Includes welding mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and steel pipe. Students may take a certification test in accordance with the American Welding Society (AWS) unlimited plate test, in accordance with AWS D1.1 structural code.

Prerequisite: WLD 162 with a grade of C or better; or equivalent industrial experience as determined by program chair; or consent of program chair.
