BA 225 - Excel for Accounting

Presents the use of basic and advanced functions of electronic spreadsheets as they relate to the accounting profession and to financial applications. Includes review of Excel formulas and formatting using templates and using spreadsheet applications to compute financial outcomes. Relates spreadsheet applications to financial accounting, managerial accounting, budgeting, and audit activities.

Prerequisite: Placement into MTH 070 or higher; or completion of MTH 060 or higher; and BA 211; and computer literacy; or consent of instructor. (All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.)
