Introduces new skills and practical application of both tactical knife and sharp-edged instrument survival. Continues practice in the use of Multiple Interactive Laser Options (MILO) firearms in order to function safely and effectively as an integral member of a correctional team. Focuses on Oregon prison gangs, use of less lethal force options, jail searches, inmate transports, civil rights investigations, jail services, traumatic incidents in corrections, and Senate Bill 111.

Prerequisite: CJ 282 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
