Lecture Hours: 4
Credit Hours: 4

Covers classification and analysis of internal and external forces induced in structures by various types of loading. Introduces structural factors such as centroids, moment of inertia, stress and deflection. Covers the design of structures based on structural analysis using equilibrium, stress, and deflection concepts.

Prerequisite: MTH 082  or MTH 112 ; and PH 121 ; or consent of instructor. (All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.)
