Introduces discussion and analysis of works of the Nineteenth, Twentieth, and Twenty-First Centuries from around the world. Explores the connection between literature and politics and literature and social change.

Prerequisite: Placement into WR 115 (or higher), or completion of WR 090 or WR 115 (or higher); and placement into RD 090; or consent of instructor. (All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.)
