ART 222 Graphic Design 2: Logo Design Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 4 Credits: 4
Builds on the concepts learned in ART 221 with an emphasis on logo design and branding.
Prerequisite: ART 221 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Refine a method of developing logo designs from initial concept through production of final art.
- Research client background and design sources as part of the search for original solutions.
- Create original logos.
- Communicate the essence of a person or company in the creation of a logo.
- Produce professional quality icons and symbols with vector graphic software.
- Produce a simple branding system.
