ART 222 Graphic Design 2: Logo Design

Builds on the concepts learned in ART 221  with an emphasis on logo design and branding.

Prerequisite: ART 221  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Refine a method of developing logo designs from initial concept through production of final art. 
  2. Research client background and design sources as part of the search for original solutions. 
  3. Create original logos. 
  4. Communicate the essence of a person or company in the creation of a logo. 
  5. Produce professional quality icons and symbols with vector graphic software. 
  6. Produce a simple branding system.
