Familiarizes international students with information, resources, and strategies to be successful in the U.S. educational environment. Designed for full-time, first-term college-level students.

Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Apply strategies relating to American classroom culture to interact and learn in the community college setting.
  2. Describe stages of culture shock and apply strategies to adjust to living in a new culture.
  3. Explain policies, procedures, and services needed to manage the educational process.
  4. Identify college resources to formulate a preliminary career goal and related educational plan.
