Introduces philosophies and ethics for public safety leadership. Focuses on core values, ethics, and decision-making. Explores developing a personal leadership philosophy. Includes defining the difference between leadership and management and completing self-assessments in an effort to gain insight into personal leadership styles and characteristics.

Prerequisite: CJ 103 with criminal history clearance; or current professional in the field; or consent of instructor.
