CJ 272 Recognizing Child Molesters

Provides specialized training for law enforcement and criminal justice professionals in how to recognize and detect child molesters. Covers the offender’s cognitive and behavioral steps, factors in selecting the child victim, and how offenders avoid discovery. Includes basic information on common sexual disorders, and cyber pedophiles.

Corequisite: Corequisiste: CJ 103 with criminal history clearance; or current professional in the field; or consent of instructor.
