DRF 271 Commercial Drafting with Revit Software 1 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 9 Credits: 4
Introduces creation of architectural plans, elevations, and sections of a light commercial project using Revit software. Covers an introduction to commercial architectural techniques and materials, as well as Revit software. First course in a three-term commercial drafting sequence using Revit software.
Prerequisite: DRF 131 with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Create and manipulate a building model using Revit software.
- Create and manipulate sheets and views using Revit software.
- Create and use wall, door, and window styles.
- Create rendered views using Revit tools.
