DRF 271 Commercial Drafting with Revit Software 1

Introduces creation of architectural plans, elevations, and sections of a light commercial project using Revit software. Covers an introduction to commercial architectural techniques and materials, as well as Revit software. First course in a three-term commercial drafting sequence using Revit software.

Prerequisite: DRF 131  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Create and manipulate a building model using Revit software. 
  2. Create and manipulate sheets and views using Revit software. 
  3. Create and use wall, door, and window styles. 
  4. Create rendered views using Revit tools.
