Focuses on how to prepare and interview for a desired job. Covers follow-up techniques.

Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Use job search tools to conduct a job search and prepare for an interview. 
  2. Apply verbal communication skills in formal presentations to send clear messages, use reflective listening, provide meaningful feedback, and give assertive responses. 
  3. Exhibit non-verbal communication appropriate to formal presentations. 
  4. Use a variety of styles and settings for specific interviews. 
  5. Develop appropriate responses to commonly asked interview questions. 
  6. Follow-up with the employer following an interview.
