Student Learning Outcomes:

Use correct posture to enhance tone production.
Employ correct tone production and exhibit a working knowledge of the ukulele.
Demonstrate a familiarity with appropriate musical terms and symbols.
Discuss selected musical periods and styles.
Use effective practice habits, including technique exercises and the identification and rehearsing of difficult passages.
Interpret his/her musical repertoire.
Memorize simple passages and/or pieces and perform an assigned number of pieces.
Exhibit increased self-confidence through use of performance techniques.
