Develops the basic language and movements of martial arts.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Beginning

  1. Identify and demonstrate the fundamental stances, blocks, and defenses.
  2. Identify and demonstrate three or more fundamental kicks.
  3. Demonstrate three fundamental punches.
  4. Demonstrate the sixteen pre-arranged 3 and 2 step fighting techniques.
  5. Develop and improve strength and flexibility, balance, and coordination, confidence and concentration, along with improving their cardiovascular fitness.
  6. Successfully train in martial arts for cardiovascular fitness.
