Introduces the use of vector graphic software Illustrator.

Prerequisite: Previous computer experience; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Use illustration software for creating graphics.
  2. Render accurate black and white line art with technical accuracy.
  3. Produce simple spot illustrations.
  4. Create grids and patterns.
  5. Scan and modify original sketches.
  6. Work with color palettes.
  7. Use letter forms and text as a basis for graphic images.
  8. Organize work in layers.
