The Business Technology certificate prepares you to work as a general office clerk, receptionist, file clerk, secretary, records retention specialist, office specialist, bookkeeping assistant, and/ or accounting clerk. All of the required courses are offered online at least once per year.

Program Outcomes

Students completing this certificate should be able to satisfy the following outcomes:

  1. Compose and accurately produce and proofread business documents using appropriate software and equipment within specified timelines.
  2. Follow professional business procedures and standards.
  3. Store, retrieve, distribute, and manage information to support office personnel.
  4. Integrate computer, computation, and communication skills to accomplish office tasks.

You may earn a certificate of completion by successfully completing the required 57 credit hours with a grade of “C” or better in all courses.
